Finally, Ford has revealed some of the official performance figures and specifications of its new GT wondercar. The car has already taken the automobile industry by the storm with the concept car design of Ford GT. The car is currently the talk of the town though it is being criticized for its slower version for a concept car that comes from Ford yet has its name in the list of sports car! Specifications of 2017 Ford GT: 2017 Ford GT will get a 3.5-litre V6 twin-turbo produces 638bhp, along with the max torque figure of 746Nm at 5,900rpm, plus active aerodynamics and a dry weight of 1,385kg. GT puts in a lap time of 2:09.8 which makes GT the second faster car than the McLaren. The car will also get an all-new ‘Digital Instrument Display’ that features unique, setup dependent layouts. The instrument cluster has the 10-inch setup, and the company has confirmed that the technology will be coming to other Ford vehicles as well, in the future. GT will do 14mpg (around 17mpg in UK figures), as rated on America’s EPA fuel economy scales. The configurable layouts are based on the GT’s five driving modes, each one tailored to deliver the most relevant information depending on the mode the driver will select.
GT got a dramatic styling of a 20-inch wheel and Michelin Wheelsman Super Sport Cup tyres. The suspension is a torsion bar and a pushrod set-up that is crest-adjustable. The Ford GT passage car will be the most sophisticated, fastest and most overpriced car ever to wear the famous blue ellipsoidal badge.
